I finished the day off at the top of the Eiffel tower watching the sunset. decided not to bring the camera... shame on me :P but i gotta say it was a nicer experience having all your senses towards your friends and the sight then through a view finder once and awhile.
Went to the Musee de Rondi , and then to the Louve and let me tell you. we underestimated the Louve, and it made us regret it...It was a wonderfully beautiful death walk. :P
A mystery event held with officials and well lots of security.
While parking we found a real surreal pathway, reminded me of the forests of japan last summer where my friend Andre and I use to explore. But this of course had a bit more of an urban feel which is still pretty awesome (metal grates and railing. the concrete walls and pipes.) If I ever have time to integrate a small park into one of my designs this is what it would look and feel like.
It was a pretty sweet museum, but before that we saw a bunch of photography laid out before the river. no foto's of that sorry, didn't feel right taking foto's of errr other foto's.
(1) First of all, I am not a photographer. This is a hobby I choose to pursue on the side due to my interest in design. ( I like to see it as Documentation)
(2) Where my interest lay are in the details of the moments surrounding our lives. I love to document these moments or in some cases recreate them.
(3) I dislike thinking about the big picture, It feels a bit to static for me, I prefer to compile a set of images that overall grow into an idea. At least then I have better control over the feel and message the images convey to the viewer.
Received my Bachelors of Science in Architecture at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. After undergrad I worked for Marc Fornes focusing on managing complex geometries and building installations in France. Now I live in Los Angeles where I attend the University of California Los Angeles and plan to graduate in 2014.
